An online service that allows users to post their ads, participate in public auctions and make purchases.
This project was an online auction platform. The customer had an existing UI/UX design for its website and wanted us to implement all its functionality.
Before getting down to business, we decided on the tech stack to use. Having discussed with the client all the particulars of the project in detail, we settled for WordPress, the most popular and easily maintained CMS.
A trading website must have a payment system. So, integrating our service with Tinkoff bank was the customer’s prerequisite. A peculiarity of this implementation was that little technical documentation was required to link the bank's payment system. We teamed up with Tinkoff bank and together came up with a solution that met all the functionality requirements.
The next stage was to set up a purchase and payment system. The seller's account should be replenished when the buyer had already received their items. We optimized the sales process by establishing interaction between the Tinkoff payment system and the Boxberry delivery service.
Another interesting task was the implementation of functionality for bidding on price ups and downs. Usually, when faced with such tasks, we use ready-made solutions to avoid extra costs, but there was no WordPress plugin that met the conditions for our functionality. So we developed our own WordPress plugin for payments.
We’ve developed a convenient service that allows users to put their items up for sale and to make purchases. The customer is readying the project for a big launch; we're already commencing another new project together.
